The Tissot T1274071605101 model is powered by the Powermatic 80 Silicium (ETA C07.811) automatic movement, which boasts up to 80 hours of power reserve, which is twice as high as is common for automatic movements in this price range. It's fitted with 25 stones and its 21,600 vibrations per hour can be observed through a transparent case back. The movement is "built" on the basis of the ETA 2824 variant. Tissot was heavily involved in its development, making it the first watchmaker in the world to include it in its watches. This underlined its label as a major innovator in the watch industry. In addition, the movement's flywheel has a silicon hairpin which, among other unique properties such as improved precision, resists magnetic fields very well.
The case is made of stainless steel and is held on the hand by a high quality leather strap. The dial is protected by sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, which is highly scratch resistant. Thanks to the water resistance to 100 metres (10 ATM) , there is no need to remove the watch from your hand even when swimming or snorkelling.
