Montegrappa was founded under the slogan "Manifattura pennini d'oro e penne stilografiche" (Maker of gold nibs and fountain pens) in 1912. The ancient proverb “fortune favours the bold but abandons the timid” is something of a motto at Montegrappa – as a vault full of audacious limited editions can testify.
